This Rex table lamp transports Art Deco glamour into the modern day.Named after the historic Rex cinema in England with its beautiful 1930’s auditorium and dramatic chandeliers. Saved from dereliction by a local entrepreneur, the cinema was restored to its former glory in 2004.Each unique piece is handcrafted from prismatic baguettes made from optical glass, refracting the light in a perpetual dance of shimmer and sparkle.Strongly directed by Art Deco influences, the Rex table lamp is evocative of a bygone era, a period of excitement and glamour. Juxtaposing a raw, welded iron frame with the sparkle of crystals, the collection captures the romance of the past but infuses it with a fresh viewpoint for a thoroughly modern take on glamour.
