To craft the China rug’s intricate pattern, Gandia Blasco’s textile specialists use a complex technique known as Chain Stitching in which the colourful threads are formed into a series of loops that resemble a chain like pattern. Raised above the design to create a three-dimensional effect, the soft sections that run throughout are hand-tufted to provide a fluffy texture.
