Description
Designed by Eleanor Pritchard, the Furlong design is inspired by arable field patterns and is named after the imperial term of measurement. A furlong was the length of a common field that a pair of oxen would plough, and the name is derived from a ‘furrow’s length’. The straight lines resemble the lines created by cattle when ploughing and are woven in the designer’s signature colours. This beautiful throw is made from lambswool and woven by highly skilled British weavers.
