Description
In approaching this dining chair, Nazanin Kamali was tasked with creating a design that reflected the craftsmanship, proportion and attention to detail found in Japanese creative industries. Crafted from a choice of oak or walnut, this is perhaps most evident in the Oki-Nami’s unique crisscross base, which joins sharply cut matchstick legs to solid frame. Another major factor in this design was comfort, with the curves of the recessed back bar and cushioned soft leather pad ensuring a relaxing dining experience whether in a restaurant or at home.
